Our Match Report
The boys traveled back down to Joe Moakley in South Boston to face off against the other remaining undefeated team, Charles River. With an 11am kick off, the Reds got to it early trying to beat the rain that was coming later in the afternoon.
The game started off well, both sides scoreless going on 20 minutes into the half, but a few broken plays let Charles river get up 2 scores when the halftime whistle blew. This trend continued into the second half with more broken plays for big meter runs by Charles River and a continued test of the North Shore defense at the goal line was tough to combat.
Without the ball in hand the Reds had a hard time getting points on the board but the lone try was scored by Jeb with Timmy making the conversion to prevent the shutout.
One positive from this match, the second week in a row with a B side match. Shout out to our reserves for fairing the weather.
