Referee's Official Match Report

Hot, sunny day in Lynn. NS nearly all facets of this match, but it was the breakaway tries by the backs that set the tone: 10 tries, 8 of which were converted (and most touched down between the posts). It was 45-0 at half time and the second half was a little tighter as the subs came on.

Despite the difference on scoreboard, both sides played with good sportsmanship. Compliments to captains, Andrew and Sauce, for their leadership.

Our Match Report

It was a beautiful 80 degree fall day in New England, in lovely downtown Lynn as a talented 22 main panel prepared to battle.

While the Springfield Tight five looked big and fit was soon apparent that they were no match for Northshores pack. After only five minutes of getting the feel of the game the Reds dominated the rest of the day. The forwards had their usual strong scrums and an impressive 22 m maul to set up a nice try. Rucking over on both O and D was textbook and it showed the men they can preach what they practiced.

There were many impressive try's today, McRae lead with 3, Sullivan x 2, Nicklas x 2, Horn, Palmer, and more?

First half ended 45-0. The entire panel got minutes today with some standout play by Long ,Ross and the new "double trouble" tag team of Ben/Dean. Don't let the score fool you as it was a shutout except for the red giving Springfield a BS penalty try on a penalty play. Big duck goes to a newcomer that keeps it exciting Chris Brockhurst. The belt goes to the entire pack who all played as one. One big strong SOB. Leading the pack is another great new addition to the team and make his presence known on the pitch Brian Manning.
